Goodbyes....

Two peas in a pod....
How do you say goodbye to someone who means everything in the world to you? How  do you say goodbye to the person who laughs with you, cries with you, is always there for you? How do you say goodbye to the person that you are closer to than anyone else in the world, the one who knows all your secrets and loves you anyways, because you know all her secrets too. How do you say goodbye to the person who lives 5 minutes away, and will now live 500 miles away? How do you settle for only emails and phone calls and only seeing eachother a few times a year? How do people do this? How do you say goodbye while knowing your life will never be the same without them. I don't know how I am going to survive my sister moving so far away from me. We have been close for so long, I forgot what it is like to not always have her around. We hang out with them so much, its going to be so lonely without them. I can call her in the middle of the night, and I know she will be ok with it. I can't even think about it without bursting into tears. We have spent the last 4 months not talking about her going, but knowing we were counting down the days and now that day is here. Thursday we are helping my sister and her hubby and little boy move to california. I am glad we get one last trip with them, that I get to postpone saying goodbye for even just a few more days. But when that time comes, I just don't know how I am going to say that final goodbye, knowing it will be months before I see them again. This is going to be really hard for me.
I love my precious little nephew with all of my heart, i can't stand the thought of not seeing him grow up day to day for the next 2 and a half years. It breaks my heart.
My brother in law is like the brother I never had. We will be so sad without these two around, they are our best friends!!
When I get back from california on sunday i am going to need a little TLC, please call me!!!!

Oh Meg, I feel so sad for you. I would be devastated if one of my sisters ever moved away. I can't imagine how you feel.
I know I've said this before, but I will do my best to try and be a good substitute. I love you. Remember, I'm just a few steps next door!!! :)

Meg, I have been there. When Camie moved away it was so hard, but we spent a ton a time on the phone and I would go out to visit and she would come here and every time I had to say goodbye again I cried. It is so hard but just know that we are here for you.

I'm so sorry for what you are going through...I hope you are hanging in there. I'm sure it's so hard and I can't imagine going through that. I'm here if you need a shoulder to cry on.
