What NOT to do at a play place....

Our group of friends frequent utah valley play places A LOT, and a few outside of utah valley. For some reason, we always seem to come into contact with THOSE MOMS! Dont know who I am talking about? Well, maybe this list will give you a clue.

DONT tattle on someone elses kid that you don't even know, especially when they aren't doing anything that bad. If they are beating your child to death or biting, maybe that would be okay to say something, but please say it in a nice voice and not in a tone that says "I can't believe your child is doing that!" Believe me, your child will do it one day too.

DONT talk in a loud voice so that EVERYONE can hear when you say things like " I guess we're just going to have to leave because those other kids aren't playing nice." We know you want us to hear you, but we really don't care. We are thinking to ourselves what an idiot you are.

DONT come put your stuff on a table when our kids food is still obviously there. Just because they aren't sitting there right that minute, doesn't mean they won't be back in just a second for another bite of food. There are a lot of other tables out there, just because they aren't right next to the play area...well, tough. We got there first.

DONT ignore your kids and let them do whatever they please. We know kids will be kids, but, your child is not "special", so if you see your kid hurting another kid, do something about it. We normal moms dont want to tattle on your kid, but if your not doing your job, we will step in to protect the other children from yours.

As you can tell, play places offer all the drama and entertainment of any soap opera! It gives us a good laugh as we all thank our lucky stars that we aren't one of THOSE MOMS!!!!
